Small Touches That Can Class Up Your Interiors In An Instant (And Make It Insta Worthy)

Welcome Back Boo,

I hope you are well!

Wow, it’s not only selfies that people are peppering Instagram with these days, but it’s also homies too! OK so I’m not sure they are called that, but you get the idea they are showing off their gorgeous interior designs on Insta along with their pouts and latest outfits. However, not all of us may feel confident enough to want to reveal our home interiors to the world, especially if they aren’t quite up to scratch. Happily, there are some quick, simple, and small things you can do that can class up any interior, keep reading to find out what they are and without further ado, let’s get straight into it.

Get the foundations sorted

OK, so I don’t mean that you need to renovate the actual foundations of your house here, although if they are looking a bit shaky, it’s probably a good idea! Instead what I mean is that you need to have the basics in place to have a share-worthy interior. After all, it doesn’t matter how many designers and on-trend touches you have if folks can see the mould in the corner of the room or the carpet that hasn’t been replaced in 20 years!

That is why it is essential that you fix any problems and complete regular maintenance, and deep cleaning in your home. Then you will have the perfect blank canvas on which to create your insta-worthy masterpiece.

Use luxe touches

Once you have the basics right, you can start adding small details that create the interior ambiance that you are looking for. If you are going for classic rather than super trendy, remember that less is often more. What that means is it’s better to have a few good pieces of furniture or decoration and let them stand on their own merit, rather than try to fill the room with mediocre stuff that can result in it looking like a junk shop.

In interiors sometimes less is more.

Also sourcing top quality details like the linens that tablecloth distributors, Richard Haworth provide can instantly raise the level of class in a room. In fact, it is paying attention to the smaller nuances like this that can help you truly create the atmosphere that you are after.

With this in mind, be sure to pick out of few items in rich metallics like gold and rose gold. Such pieces can be anything from picture frames, cutlery, and crockery and even any objet d’art as well, as long as they are chosen well and placed for maximum effect. Something you can read more about doing here.

Let there be light

Light is vital to getting a great interior pic for Insta.

Lastly, it is crucial to remember that even if you cannot afford to add luxe items into your home decor, allowing as much light in as possible can do wonders for your pics on Instagram.
To this end, ensure curtains are hung correctly over the windows rather than right on them. Don’t forget either that voile is a fantastic way of allowing light into a room even if you don’t have the best views so you can still take that perfect pic and get in on some of that insta love.

Welp! That’s it for this post! I hope you’ve learned some tips on how to spruce up your interior and take great pics for your Instagram!

Remember to keep on slaying,

See you next time xoxo
